With just 35 days to go before our track day at Croft Circuit, my first on a motorcycle, we’ve managed to find a motorcycle to use. A 1996 Suzuki GSX-R 750 SRAD, complete with lots of Yoshimura go-faster parts.
Following a number of short road-rides to shake-down the bike, it re-payed my kindness by ejecting it’s chain and rolled to a stop, right outside a closed pub.
Today we can’t make any progress on the Land Rover because the BMW E90 3-series decided it needed attention and it would not wait. We change both rear wheel speed ABS sensors and a headlight bulb for good measure.

After passing my motorcycle tests in December and in just 64 short days, I will do my very first motorcycle track day at Croft Circuit. All I have to do is find and build a track bike, repair my motorcycle trailer and the vehicle that tows it. Oh, and lose over two stone in weight. It’ll be a breeze, won’t it….?
